If you've been following my photography, you would've seen one of my first albums (Othandweni | Place of Love') that I uploaded of children from a rural community who desperately needed a new creche.
This morning I got to go out to visit the creche again and all its happy children and see the progress on the building of the school.
Lions Newcastle and Khulisa have undertaken this mammoth task of building a new school for these children.
The creche is built in a shape that symbolises a mother's arms protecting her children.

The children are fed daily at the school by food parcels and sponsorships from the community. Soon they will have their own veggie garden.
