Day Five | A Photo A Day

I've always wanted an African Grey but unfortunately, with two cats already owning the home, it would be impossible. 
But we do have friends in Pietermaritzburg who have an African Grey, Peanut and have recently introduced this little baby into their nest. 
Chicken is about 16 weeks old and is still learning to talk. He's very tame and enjoyed walking around on the couch and eating an apple while his big brother chirped and chatted from his cage a few metres away. I've never met a bird that can speak more and has so much attitude than Peanut. Between all the cell phone sounds, he chats to the dogs, dances to Jack Parow's 'dans, dans, dans' and sings the lyrics from LMFAO - "Everyday I'm shuffling". 
Today was the first time I got to meet Chicken, who enjoyed a few nips to my fingers.
