Day 31 | Lemon Drop
I thought I'd give this fruit splash a go with a lemon we had lying around in our kitchen.
It took a couple of lemon drops before I eventually got the above pics. I'm not too happy with them.
The whole lemon looked a bit boring so I thought I'd slice the lemon into wedges and try that but didn't get quite as much splash as I wanted with the wedges.
Because I had no more lemons and no other fruit lying about, I settled with these two photos.
Settings (in case you wanted to know): 35mm f2 1/1000s ISO 400.

Ava, Emily, Marizanne and Kyle | Family
What beautiful girls! Ava is a picture perfect seven week old baby and her older sister, Emily, is seven. Both are super cute! Emily is extremely adorable and is very protective of her little baby sister.
Through this shoot, I have found that babies/children are definitely my favourite subjects to photograph. There's something so magical about photographing their little faces and capturing their moments and personalities before they're all grown up.
Hope you enjoy the photos Kyle and Marizanne and thank you for letting me photograph your family.

Day 22 | Welcome Macro
Today I welcomed a very special lens into my camera bag - one I've been wanting for
for many years.
Welcome AF-S Micro Nikkor 85mm 1:3.5G!
So what better to try it out on then our wedding rings?
Hopefully I find some slow-moving, interesting, bright, funky bugs soon!
